Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Selahaddin Aktemur started the match with the kick off. In the 7th play minute Ensar Bakanay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised İdris Tandan. 1-0. Mavisehir's Mahmut İksir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenk Şavat in the 11th minute of play. Cenk Şavat took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mahmut İksir. Mahmut İksir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Ensar Bakanay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of İdris Tandan, 2-1. İdris Tandan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ensar Bakanay in the 18th minute. Mahmut İksir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Ayvaz Oruz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mavisehir's protests and gave Ayvaz Oruz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mavisehir's Ayvaz Oruz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Zeynel Has took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mahmut İksir. Mavisehir's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ayvaz Oruz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Mavisehir's Ayvaz Oruz got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Mavisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu came free, but Mahmut İksir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mahmut İksir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mavisehir defense, Cenk Şavat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahmut İksir. The Mavisehir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahmut İksir should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cenk Şavat put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mahmut İksir. After 40 played minutes Kazan got a freekick which was hit by Uygur Demiralp. In the 43rd minute Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmut İksir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cenk Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kazan's supporters rose to their feet, but Cenk Şavat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmut İksir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mahmut İksir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenk Şavat in the 47th minute of play forced Mavisehir's goalkeeper Mahmut İksir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ensar Bakanay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samet Başkurt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İdris Tandan having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Mavisehir's Samet Başkurt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İdris Tandan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. After a defensive mix-up in Mavisehir's zone, Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmut İksir came out of the goal and Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İdris Tandan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samet Başkurt went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahmut İksir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ensar Bakanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. İdris Tandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Mavisehir's Selahaddin Aktemur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İdris Tandan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mavisehir's Mahmut İksir got control of the ball when Cenk Şavat tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ensar Bakanay in the 92nd minute of play forced Kazan's goalkeeper İdris Tandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kazan's Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu in the 95th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mahmut İksir was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mavisehir through an amazing save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
