Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cahit Akay made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Selahaddin Aktemur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abay Şinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mavisehir's zone, Cahit Akay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmut İksir came out of the goal and Cahit Akay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bursaspor booed when Mavisehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayvaz Oruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Numan Garipbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selahaddin Aktemur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abay Şinas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selahaddin Aktemur in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ensar Bakanay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Ensar Bakanay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abay Şinas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cahit Akay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Mahmut İksir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mavisehir's Mahmut İksir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cahit Akay in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Mahmut İksir managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Bursaspor's Cahit Akay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cahit Akay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selahaddin Aktemur to make the kick off. The nice shot from Ensar Bakanay in the 70thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Abay Şinas had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 71st minute, Mavisehir's Selahaddin Aktemur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cahit Akay in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahmut İksir saved Mavisehir from getting behind. Mahmut İksir came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Bursaspor's Yetkiner Sertuğ. But to his dismay, Yetkiner Sertuğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cahit Akay hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Samet Başkurt kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Mavisehir's Mahmut İksir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Numan Garipbaş in the 86th minute of play. Cabbar Kayraalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cahit Akay hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bursaspor fully deserved thier win.
