Mahmut İksir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neşat Barbaros in the 8th minute of play. Rıza Uluç in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mahmut İksir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Mavisehir booed when Korkmazcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ecevit Orbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Barışcan Talaykan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıza Uluç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmut İksir having to interfere. Mavisehir's Mahmut İksir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mavisehir from getting a goal against them. Rıza Uluç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Mahmut İksir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Selahaddin Aktemur sped through Korkmazcity's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adnan Emekli. After the first half Mavisehir were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Selahaddin Aktemur made a kick off. Mahmut İksir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıza Uluç in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mavisehir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tayyar Göktürk was slow to take the kick. During this time Korkmazcity's players had a chance to rest. Suat Ongunsu charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suat Ongunsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adnan Emekli made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Selahaddin Aktemur sent off a good shot on target. If Selahaddin Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıza Uluç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neşat Barbaros struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Mahmut İksir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korkmazcity. A collision led to Korkmazcity getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nazil Sahir hit a great ball. Ensar Bakanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Adnan Emekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Selahaddin Aktemur came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Mavisehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selahaddin Aktemur couldn't finish the play. Korkmazcity's Adnan Emekli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selahaddin Aktemur in the 85th minute of play. If Ensar Bakanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mavisehir's Selahaddin Aktemur got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Ecevit Orbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mavisehir's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hasan Ali Bağcıoğlu in the 98th minute. After taking down the ball on Mavisehir's corner Hasan Ali Bağcıoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adnan Emekli quite easily take care of the ball. Mavisehir's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
