When Enginalp Güngör fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edremit's protests and gave Enginalp Güngör a yellow card for diving instead. Enginalp Güngör hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Bahri Ozaner got in the 4th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Yasin Kirtekin and thus it was 1-0. The supporters of Egespor booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp Güngör didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yasin Kirtekin was a little too slow when Arif Buğra Özdil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Egespor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Ulusan came free, but Korhan Reha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hüseyin Can Benlioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
