Halit Fahri Üstündağ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ejder Derviş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Baran Tayyip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edirne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sancak city the free kick. The supporters of sancak city booed when Edirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Tayyip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adil Umut hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halit Fahri Üstündağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by sancak city's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atay Yağıztekin was slow to take the kick. During this time Edirne's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mümtazer Sunay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but sancak city's Halit Fahri Üstündağ did a great save. Mümtazer Sunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Üstündağ having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç in the 96th minute of play forced sancak city's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Üstündağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Edirne fully deserved thier win.
