Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baran Tayyip made the kick off and thus started the match. Atay Yağıztekin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Edirne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Yunak SK's zone, Baran Tayyip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihan Gurbet came out of the goal and Baran Tayyip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baran Tayyip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Emin Ulutaş hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peker Yonals short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Kuddusî Hazlan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kuddusî Hazlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şeref Çağlayan in the 38th minute of the match. When Hüseyin Selman fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yunak SK's protests and gave Hüseyin Selman a yellow card for diving instead. Hüseyin Selman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cihan Gurbet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Tayyip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şeref Çağlayan was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Yunak SK booed when Edirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edirne's Kuddusî Hazlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peker Yonal in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Yunak SK's Mehmet Emin Ulutaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kuddusî Hazlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihan Gurbet having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Yunak SK got a freekick which was hit by Şeref Çağlayan. Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şeref Çağlayan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peker Yonal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Edirne's Baran Tayyip slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cihan Gurbet. That made the score 3-1 after 90 minutes of play. Yunak SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
