Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aygün Akçam started the match with the kick off. Mehdi İzhan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. In the 11th minute Sebati Aktaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uygur Başbuğoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezine SK's Ilgaz Uçhan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sebati Aktaç in the 16 minute of the game. In the 18thth minute of the game Avni Uçman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taksim's Tayfur Kayhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uygur Başbuğoğlu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Taksim's Aygün Akçam. But to his dismay, Aygün Akçam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Avni Uçman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ezine SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Avni Uçman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfur Kayhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes in the game Mehdi İzhan after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tayfur Kayhan. A very good opportunity. In the 28th minute, Ahmet Ziya Akalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ezine SK's zone, Aygün Akçam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uygur Başbuğoğlu came out of the goal and Aygün Akçam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avni Uçman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tayfur Kayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avni Uçman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Tayfur Kayhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Avni Uçman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebati Aktaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uygur Başbuğoğlu having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute of the match Bircan Akçakoca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tayfur Kayhan skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Taksim getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Çelebi Şenalp hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Avni Uçman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Taksim's Tayfur Kayhan didn't even have to move. Ezine SK's Ilgaz Uçhan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sebati Aktaç in the 57 minute of the game. If Mehdi İzhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aygün Akçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uygur Başbuğoğlu having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Avni Uçman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes in the game Ilgaz Uçhan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Avni Uçman. Tayfur Kayhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avni Uçman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aygün Akçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uygur Başbuğoğlu having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Avni Uçman made a precise shot to the right of Tayfur Kayhan. Taksim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Kutlu Şemsifer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezine SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutlu Şemsifer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Avni Uçman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tayfur Kayhan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avni Uçman in the 85th minute of play forced Taksim's goalkeeper Tayfur Kayhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uygur Başbuğoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aygün Akçam in the 89th minute of play. Avni Uçman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Avni Uçman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayfur Kayhan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taksim players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ezine SK.
