In the 14th minute Mazhar Atlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahman Sendur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Amed spor getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Güven Çırakoğlu hit a great ball. Amed spor's Recai Mürşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadırhan Taki in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Mazhar Atlıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Recai Mürşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahadırhan Taki in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute Mazhar Atlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahman Sendur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şansal Akdurmuş was the one to do the kick off. Rahman Sendur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şansal Akdurmuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mazhar Atlıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rahman Sendur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazhar Atlıoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Nazillispor's goal looked a bit too open when Şansal Akdurmuş came free, but Rahman Sendur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mazhar Atlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
