Akcadag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fethiyespor the free kick. Yüce Özgiray came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Akcadag's Bilge Perva. But to his dismay, Bilge Perva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fuat Nurettin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yüce Özgiray. Yüce Özgiray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Yüce Özgiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basri Coşar in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Fuat Nurettin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yüce Özgiray. Fethiyespor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fuat Nurettin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bilge Perva to strike the kick off in the second half. If Seyit Hepyener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. In the 65th play minute Bilge Perva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yüce Özgiray. 1-4. In the 69th minute Mehmet Emin Sadri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yüce Özgiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fethiyespor's Aytunç Üke got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yüce Özgiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emin Sadri in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Özen Kurhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akcadag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özen Kurhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bilge Perva scored 1-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yüce Özgiray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Fethiyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emin Sadri came free, but Yüce Özgiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ceyhan Hafız was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fethiyespor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akcadag the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Fethiyespor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Akcadag:s goal. Chants of Akcadag echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Fethiyespor had held the ball for most of the match.
