In the 23rd minute, one of Ulus FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ulus FK. Sariveliler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammet Kayacan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Abdulmelik Özyurt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sertel Tamkoç kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Abdulmelik Özyurt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halil Utku Müşfik came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdulmelik Özyurt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. Fikret Akbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Halil Utku Müşfik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Fikret Akbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baturhan Gerdaneri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tan Belge, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ulus FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
