Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdulmelik Özyurt kicked off to start the match. Şerafettin Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Gerdaneri having to interfere. Baturhan Gerdaneri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Süruri Ömürcan in the 9th minute. Muharrem İcabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikret Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Abdulmelik Özyurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulus FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Özyurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fikret Akbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muharrem İcabi having to interfere. Baturhan Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerafettin Başöz in the 23rd minute of the match. Fikret Akbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Muharrem İcabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ulus FK's zone, Şerafettin Başöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baturhan Gerdaneri came out of the goal and Şerafettin Başöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Süruri Ömürcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Baturhan Gerdaneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fikret Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Fikret Akbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muharrem İcabi was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Muharrem İcabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulmelik Özyurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Fikret Akbal fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şerafettin Başöz to strike the kick off in the second half. Şerafettin Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Gerdaneri having to interfere. Abdulmelik Özyurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şahin Balabey hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ulus FK's Baran Bilge Nasuh got a free kick in the 89th minute. Muharrem İcabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulmelik Özyurt in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tarsus SK had won after a very even match.
