Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Şerafettin Başöz got the match started through his kick off. Muharrem İcabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sümer Özboga's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Rahim Balta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bora Han Karataş charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bora Han Karataş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bora Han Karataş kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Oğuzer Erbelgin, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Kozluk's Halit Ziya Mertoğul got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tarsus SK were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Kozluk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zülfikar Ilgaz took the corner. Zülfikar Ilgaz made a great header on Tarsus SK's corner, it was just that Kozluk's Baturay Aktay managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Kozluk defense, Süruri Ömürcan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baturay Aktay. The Kozluk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baturay Aktay should have stopped the shot. If Şerafettin Başöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Süruri Ömürcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturay Aktay having to interfere. During the 37th minute of the match Halit Ziya Mertoğul completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Halit Ziya Mertoğul a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Halit Ziya Mertoğul kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozluk's goalkeeper Baturay Aktay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Muharrem İcabi was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Rahim Balta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rahim Balta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Muharrem İcabi was a little too slow when Ufuk Özkut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rahim Balta made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Süruri Ömürcan got free with Baturay Aktay in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ufuk Özkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muharrem İcabi having to interfere. The supporters of Kozluk booed when Tarsus SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Can Ekinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rahim Balta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muharrem İcabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Balta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarsus SK's goalkeeper Muharrem İcabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Şerafettin Başöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarsus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerafettin Başöz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturay Aktay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rahim Balta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muharrem İcabi came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Kozluk's Sümer Özboga. But to his dismay, Sümer Özboga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Bora Han Karataş was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, Tarsus SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Karataş to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Ufuk Özkut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muharrem İcabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Muharrem İcabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Balta in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Ufuk Özkut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Muharrem İcabi. Tarsus SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ufuk Özkut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The supporters of Tarsus SK booed when Kozluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadır Ataseven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zülfikar Ilgaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tarsus SK booed when Kozluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sümer Özboga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rahim Balta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tarsus SK's zone, Rahim Balta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muharrem İcabi came out of the goal and Rahim Balta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rahim Balta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kozluk's Baturay Aktay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Kozluk from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Kozluk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
