The supporters of Sinopspor booed when Firat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babür Işınay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes in the game, Lütfi Danış fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Birsel Ekincioğlu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sinopspor's Mehmet Edip Semail slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birsel Ekincioğlu. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sinopspor's zone, Abdulhamit Siret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haydar Erşahan came out of the goal and Abdulhamit Siret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Recep Giyas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Birsel Ekincioğlu to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Sinopspor's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhamit Siret came free, but Haydar Erşahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haydar Erşahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulhamit Yay in the 42nd minute of the match. Mehmet Edip Semail struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Birsel Ekincioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinopspor.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Recep Giyas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Babür Işınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzer Tandoruk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Haydar Erşahan made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, Firat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Can Onar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Firat getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Babür Işınay hit a great ball. Abdulhamit Siret might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haydar Erşahan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdulhamit Siret ran back to his position shaking his head. Haydar Erşahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzer Tandoruk in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Firat's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Edip Semail came free, but Birsel Ekincioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Sinopspor's goalkeeper Haydar Erşahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdulhamit Siret. After having played for 92 minutes, Oğuzer Tandoruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzer Tandoruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdulhamit Siret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuzer Tandoruk in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haydar Erşahan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sinopspor were victorious despite being under pressure from Firat for much of the match.
