Hulusi Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Oksar in the 13th minute of the match. Beşir Erserim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Cesur Urandu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Murgul JK's zone, İzzet Umurbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesur Urandu came out of the goal and İzzet Umurbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute of the match Haşmet Parshan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesur Urandu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Rauf Taşkın fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murgul JK's protests and gave Rauf Taşkın a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Rauf Taşkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım defense, Ümit Oksar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hulusi Şahinalp. The 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hulusi Şahinalp should have stopped the shot. Servet Muhammed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ümit Oksar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beşir Erserim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Murgul JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Baransel to maneuver through the defense. Haşmet Parshan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

53 minutes into the game, 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım's İzzet Umurbey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesur Urandu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım booed when Murgul JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Servet Muhammed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Servet Muhammed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murgul JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Servet Muhammed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulusi Şahinalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım's zone, Ümit Oksar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulusi Şahinalp came out of the goal and Ümit Oksar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Beşir Erserim came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the 7 Yıllık Takımı Bıraktım fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beşir Erserim couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir Erserim in the 85th minute of play forced Murgul JK's goalkeeper Cesur Urandu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İzzet Umurbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesur Urandu having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Murgul JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
