MTK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurtköy the free kick. The supporters of MTK booed when Kurtköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Demirsah didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Kurtköy's Anıl Sargan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeki Torgay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kurtköy reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asaf Oruz in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeki Torgay saved MTK from getting behind. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kurtköy's Asaf Oruz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Kurtköy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
