Yetkiner Neşit might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Friberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yetkiner Neşit ran back to his position shaking his head. After 7 minutes, Ahmet Harun Keykubad made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. TürkGücü's Rolf Friberger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, TürkGücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Harun Keykubad came free, but Rolf Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cekerek fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Cekerek's Ahmet Harun Keykubad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Cekerek booed when TürkGücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayrettin Cumali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Davut Baş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Friberger having to interfere. Ahmet Davut Baş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rolf Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Videl Vidales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TürkGücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cekerek the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolf Friberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ahmet Harun Keykubad put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolf Friberger. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Harun Keykubad in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolf Friberger saved TürkGücü from getting behind. Rolf Friberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güvenç Hezarfen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of TürkGücü booed when Cekerek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güvenç Hezarfen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Harun Keykubad struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rolf Friberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cekerek. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hayrettin Cumali made a kick off. TürkGücü's Rolf Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Harun Keykubad in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, TürkGücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Harun Keykubad came free, but Rolf Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Friberger came out of the goal and Ahmet Davut Baş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TürkGücü's Rolf Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Harun Keykubad in the 90th minute of play. Cekerek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
