Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bahattin Sirer started the match with the kick off. Zeki Torgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Sayfi in the 5th minute of the match. Orçun İçöz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Zeki Torgay made a huge save. Necmi İnanoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeki Torgay. MTK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Bahattin Sirer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahattin Sirer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Bahattin Sirer made a precise shot to the right of Hilmi Songün. Lazmanya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nazım Sayfi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zeki Torgay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazmanya. With a little luck, MTK's Zeki Torgay got control of the ball when Orçun İçöz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nazım Sayfis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Zeki Torgay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazım Sayfi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emrah Tümerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hilmi Songün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Bahattin Sirer managed to get in a good position for a shot. MTK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahattin Sirer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmi Songün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özdemir Tavil kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Erhan Tunçboğa, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Orçun İçöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zeki Torgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lazmanya booed when MTK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özdemir Tavil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orçun İçöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazım Sayfi took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeki Torgay. Zeki Torgay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Bahattin Sirer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilmi Songün. That made the score 2-2 in the 75 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazım Sayfi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeki Torgay saved MTK from getting behind. Nazım Sayfi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Zeki Torgay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazmanya. In the 84th minute Nazım Sayfi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeki Torgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayyam Kalhan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Zeki Torgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Sayfi in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Orçun İçöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lazmanya's supporters rose to their feet, but Orçun İçöz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeki Torgay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Sayfi in the 94th minute of play forced MTK's goalkeeper Zeki Torgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazım Sayfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeki Torgay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
