The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lazmanya's Mehmet Ediz Yalkı got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Tayyar Serter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazım Sayfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilmi Songün made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Turgay Vecihi sent off a good shot on target. Hilmi Songün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfullah Erkinay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lazmanya getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Erhan Tunçboğa hit a great ball. Turgay Vecihi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Hilmi Songün when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Seyfullah Erkinay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nazım Sayfi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lazmanya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazım Sayfi couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş's Kıraç Dölek got a free kick in the 58th minute. Abdurrezzak Toktimur's late challenge caught a Lazmanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdurrezzak Toktimur helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Abdurrezzak Toktimur. Seyfullah Rebi made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Orçun İçöz sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Sayfi came free, but Seyfullah Rebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müfit Kerem to maneuver through the defense. If Turgay Vecihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lazmanya's zone, Seyfullah Erkinay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilmi Songün came out of the goal and Seyfullah Erkinay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilmi Songün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Seyfullah Rebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazım Sayfi in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Turgut Özdeğer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beşiktaş's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lazmanya the free kick. In the 85th minute, Turgut Özdeğer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
