The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ergincan Evvah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Eşref Günaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nazım Sayfi got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eşref Günaydın was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lazmanya's Sertaç Kıvılcım got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Nazım Sayfi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eşref Günaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match Boğaç Dündaroğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilmi Songün skillfully saved the ball. When Lazmanya's Nazım Sayfi in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mürsel Uraltan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Ertunç Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eşref Günaydın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazım Sayfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Kücükbakkalköy JK's goalkeeper Eşref Günaydın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orçun İçöz. Orçun İçöz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Eşref Günaydın skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eşref Günaydın was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nazım Sayfi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nazım Sayfi was the one to do the kick off. Ergincan Evvah charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ergincan Evvah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Lazmanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergincan Evvah to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Lazmanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertaç Kıvılcım to maneuver through the defense. Necmi İnanoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eşref Günaydın. Kücükbakkalköy JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Orçun İçöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Nazım Sayfi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hilmi Songün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Karabulut in the 89th minute of play. If Ertunç Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Nazım Sayfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ertunç Fırıncı got free with Hilmi Songün in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lazmanya's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
