The crowd rose to their feet as Kasımpasaspor's Enes Acabay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeki Torgay. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Enes Acabay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeki Torgay having to interfere. After 22 played minutes MTK got a freekick which was hit by Reis Atatuğ. Aygün Dilşah didn't quite understand what happened when in the 24 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 26th match minute, Kasımpasaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinçer Yağızhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Dinçer Yağızhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emrah Tümerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Özden Akça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahattin Sirer to make the kick off. Kasımpasaspor's Özden Akça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahattin Sirer in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Kasımpasaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Bahattin Sirer came free, but Özden Akça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emrah Tümerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kasımpasaspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while MTK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
