Arif Tugay Kızılateş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arif Tugay Kızılateş, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aziz Korur was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Digor JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boran Uygun to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Bayındır Acarsoy hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. A collision led to Digor JK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abuzer Vechi hit a great ball. Bayındır Acarsoy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Tugay Kızılateş in the 31st minute of play forced Digor JK's goalkeeper Aziz Korur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The tension between the Digor JK and the FenerBahçe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Hamdullah Tuner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bora Üstek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuralp Özselen in the 62nd minute. Nuralp Özselen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ali Vedat Nesim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, FenerBahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Vedat Nesim came free, but Bora Üstek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bora Üstek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Vedat Nesim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Digor JK's Aziz Korur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Tugay Kızılateş in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Digor JK defense, Arif Tugay Kızılateş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aziz Korur. The Digor JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aziz Korur should have stopped the shot. Bora Üstek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Vedat Nesim in the 86th minute of the match. Nuralp Özselen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Üstek having to interfere. Aziz Korur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Sait, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Aziz Korur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Tugay Kızılateş in the 93rd minute of play. When Volkan Sait came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FenerBahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volkan Sait couldn't finish the play. Digor JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
