A collision led to FenerBahçe getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ali Atıf Akkoyun hit a great ball. Tuncay Tokkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FenerBahçe's zone, Tuncay Tokkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bora Üstek came out of the goal and Tuncay Tokkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Tuncay Tokkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Üstek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FenerBahçe's Bora Üstek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FenerBahçe from getting a goal against them. Berkay İltay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkan Sait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Arif Tugay Kızılateş managed to get in a good position for a shot. FenerBahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Tugay Kızılateş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berkay İltay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Tugay Kızılateş to make the kick off. The supporters of KIZILTEPE booed when FenerBahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Acarsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Tuncay Tokkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Üstek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Ozan Yürük charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Şamil Zade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bora Üstek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Şamil Zade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Bora Üstek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Tuncay Tokkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Üstek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Tuncay Tokkan made a precise shot to the right of Bora Üstek. FenerBahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KIZILTEPE fully deserved thier win.
