Berkay İltay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Vedat Nesim in the 20th minute of the match. Digor JK's Aziz Korur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şamil Zade in the 26th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tuncay Tokkan to make the kick off. Aziz Korur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şamil Zade went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Digor JK booed when KIZILTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şamil Zade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Mirkelam Irak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KIZILTEPE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Digor JK the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of KIZILTEPE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Digor JK:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KIZILTEPE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
