After 19 minutes, Semavi Yaban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray SK and the 42 Bozkurt FK 42 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Semavi Yaban. Jimmie Odén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Odén in the 34th minute of play forced 42 Bozkurt FK 42's goalkeeper Uygur Mümtaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vural Dilsaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uygur Mümtaz having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Sadettin Saru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadettin Saru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in 42 Bozkurt FK 42's zone, Karahan Onar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uygur Mümtaz came out of the goal and Karahan Onar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uygur Mümtaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vural Dilsaz in the 55th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Tunç Ateşoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 42 Bozkurt FK 42's Uygur Mümtaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tunç Ateşoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uygur Mümtaz having to interfere. Vural Dilsaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Uygur Mümtaz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, 42 Bozkurt FK 42's Ahmet Yahya Yankı got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Vural Dilsaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uygur Mümtaz. 42 Bozkurt FK 42's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vural Dilsaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 72 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Karahan Onar. Jimmie Odén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, 42 Bozkurt FK 42's Uygur Mümtaz got control of the ball when Jimmie Odén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vural Dilsaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karahan Onar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Karahan Onar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 Bozkurt FK 42's Uygur Mümtaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Galatasaray SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 42 Bozkurt FK 42 throughout the match.
