Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tunç Ateşoğlu kicked off to start the match. Ahmet Korkut Erva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vural Dilsaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Korkut Erva came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Jimmie Odén. But to his dismay, Jimmie Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Korkut Erva saved Germencik from getting behind. The corner led Galatasaray SK's Sadettin Saru to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Korkut Erva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germencik's zone, Tunç Ateşoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Erva came out of the goal and Tunç Ateşoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Galatasaray SK's Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germencik's goalie prevented a goal. Aytuğ Koçubey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ömür Nadi in the 15th minute of the match. The Galatasaray SK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Galatasaray SK's Tunç Ateşoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tunç Ateşoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Korkut Erva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Germencik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sait Reşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Tunç Ateşoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Korkut Erva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Vural Dilsaz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Germencik's Ahmet Korkut Erva. Ahmet Korkut Erva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Korkut Erva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 31st minute of play. Germencik's Ahmet Korkut Erva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 33rd minute of play. Volkan Sabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Korkut Erva having to interfere. Germencik's Sait Reşit got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Sait Reşit off the ground. After a rather tough play, Germencik's Sait Reşit got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Galatasaray SK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peker Ergüç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germencik's goalkeeper Ahmet Korkut Erva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Korkut Erva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tunç Ateşoğlu in the 58th minute of the match. Ahmet Korkut Erva made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Volkan Sabi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Germencik's Peker Ergüç got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Sezgin Özben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tunç Ateşoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Korkut Erva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tunç Ateşoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ahmet Korkut Erva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray SK's Vural Dilsaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Korkut Erva. That made the score 0-5 after 67 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Tunç Ateşoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Korkut Erva was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Jimmie Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ahmet Korkut Erva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tunç Ateşoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Ahmet Korkut Erva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Galatasaray SK's Tunç Ateşoğlu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tunç Ateşoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Korkut Erva having to make a save. In the 91st match minute, Germencik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çeliker Mikail to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Korkut Erva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Odén in the 95th minute of the match.
