If Hamit Turaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Selimhan Adalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamit Turaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Aytuğ Belge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yavuz Selimhan Adalı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykan Özdener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menderes Saygın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Menderes Saygın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aykan Özdener made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ünsal Uraza in the 38th minute. If Hamit Turaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Ünsal Uraza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hamit Turaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Menderes Saygın made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Menderes Saygın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Özdener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Alacam's Menderes Saygın made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aykan Özdener was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee showed Ateş Soytekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alacam getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ateş Soytekin hit a great ball. Menderes Saygın took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aykan Özdener. Aykan Özdener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When İzzettin Suphi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored gönenspor2's protests and gave İzzettin Suphi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alacam booed when gönenspor2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzettin Suphi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ünsal Uraza struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Aykan Özdener didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alacam. Alacam's Menderes Saygın got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Menderes Saygın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Özdener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ünsal Uraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, gönenspor2's Hakkı Ehil got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ünsal Uraza got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ünsal Uraza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Ateş Soytekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alacam's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
