Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Şanver Açıkalın got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK's Şener Cire made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sami Başdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deniz Kayıboylu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kilyos's Tuğrul Esay got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Özgenay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göksel Canbulat. Sami Başdoğan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK's Deniz Kayıboylu. But to his dismay, Deniz Kayıboylu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Sertaç Geylani with Mustafa Numan Enfa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 33 minutes, Göksel Canbulat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilyos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göksel Canbulat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK's Mehmet Akif Özgenay got control of the ball when Göksel Canbulat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melih Geylani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göksel Canbulat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Akif Özgenay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Mehmet Akif Özgenay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göksel Canbulat in the 42nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göksel Canbulat made a kick off. Mehmet Akif Özgenay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Geylani, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Melih Geylani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Akif Özgenay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Sami Başdoğan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şener Cire in the 59th minute. Sami Başdoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şanver Açıkalın in the 61st minute of the match. Tuğrul Esay struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Mehmet Akif Özgenay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilyos. Mustafa Numan Enfa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 94 minutes, Mustafa Numan Enfa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK and the Kilyos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kilyos booed when Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Numan Enfa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göksel Canbulat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mehmet Akif Özgenay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Suluca Gençlerbirliği FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
