When Muharrem Ural came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AkdemirGücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muharrem Ural couldn't finish the play. Ateş Soytekin's late challenge caught a AkdemirGücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ateş Soytekin helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Alacam got a freekick which was hit by Ateş Soytekin. In the 32nd minute, Baha Gazir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eşref Okyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AkdemirGücü's Emir Cihaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünsal Uraza in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ateş Soytekin in the 39th minute of play forced AkdemirGücü's goalkeeper Emir Cihaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Muharrem Ural managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AkdemirGücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muharrem Ural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AkdemirGücü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alacam were winning 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ateş Soytekin got free with Emir Cihaner in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
