After having played for 15 minutes, Dursun Oğurata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eyüp JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dursun Oğurata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rıza Özak made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Doruk Tunçboğa sent off a good shot on target. Rıza Özak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evren Özakın in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Emirgazi SK's Aktan Senih got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dursun Oğurata got free with Rıza Özak in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Dursun Oğurata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rıza Özak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 36 minutes into the game, Eyüp JK's Doruk Tunçboğa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rıza Özak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doruk Tunçboğa got free with Rıza Özak in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murat Selim Tükelalp kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Emirgazi SK's Rıza Özak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evren Özakın in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Emirgazi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Gültekin to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinçer Kaymaz during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Emirgazi SK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dinçer Kaymaz hit a great ball. When Göksel Oğuzbala fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Rıza Özak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evren Özakın's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Dursun Oğurata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
