Ardanuc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulus the free kick. The supporters of Ulus booed when Ardanuc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batıray Kerimhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ulus's goal looked a bit too open when Aydemir Özcan came free, but Devrim Trabzonlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencal Zade in the 28th minute of play forced Ulus's goalkeeper Devrim Trabzonlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Süruri Birsen took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devrim Trabzonlu. Devrim Trabzonlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aydemir Özcan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Abdullatif Kavaş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devrim Trabzonlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ulus's Aşır Özbas got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ardanuc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ulus.
