Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erdem Yılma ran back to his position shaking his head. Gencal Zade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Kuddusî Başesgioğlu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydemir Özcan in the 6th minute of play forced Çorlu Spor's goalkeeper Kuddusî Başesgioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Çorlu Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Aydemir Özcan came free, but Kuddusî Başesgioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nizam Saykut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydemir Özcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aydemir Özcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özkan Şölen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aytaç Vecdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gencal Zade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardanuc's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencal Zade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aydemir Özcan in the 16th minute of play. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıray Kerimhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gencal Zade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuddusî Başesgioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Çorlu Spor's Emrah Apaydın got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes, Nizam Saykut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çorlu Spor and the Ardanuc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydemir Özcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Aydemir Özcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuddusî Başesgioğlu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özkan Şölen to strike the kick off in the second half. Erhan İnanç charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erhan İnanç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Çorlu Spor's Erhan İnanç got a free kick in the 61st minute. Aydemir Özcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Ardanuc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süruri Birsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 69thth minute of the game Aydemir Özcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çorlu Spor's Kuddusî Başesgioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aydemir Özcan in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuddusî Başesgioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencal Zade, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. But to his dismay, Aydemir Özcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Aydemir Özcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Başesgioğlu having to interfere. Ardanuc's Gencal Zade got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Çorlu Spor's goalkeeper Kuddusî Başesgioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydemir Özcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ardanuc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
