After a rather tough play, Asesler FK's Mehmet Hamdi Avcu got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asesler FK's goalkeeper Zülfikar Ülkem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Selim's goalkeeper Şeray Uğurhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk. After a rather tough play, Selim's Dorukhan Akbayrak got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk in the 23rd minute of play forced Selim's goalkeeper Şeray Uğurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Selim's zone, Boran Nabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şeray Uğurhan came out of the goal and Boran Nabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zülfikar Ülkem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağızalp Özdeş, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Asesler FK booed when Selim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızalp Özdeş didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yağızalp Özdeş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Asesler FK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hamdi Avcu. In the 45th minute Yağızalp Özdeş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zülfikar Ülkem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Selim's Cevher Deryace got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sarper Remiz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Boran Nabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Şeray Uğurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Selim's goalkeeper Şeray Uğurhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Selim getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Köksal Battal hit a great ball. Mehmet Emrah Emekli didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 68 minutes, Yağızalp Özdeş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selim and the Asesler FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Selim got a freekick which was hit by Yağızalp Özdeş. Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. A collision led to Asesler FK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ahmet Asım Başesgi hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Sarper Remiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarper Remiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yağızalp Özdeş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Yağızalp Özdeş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızalp Özdeş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boran Nabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şeray Uğurhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boran Nabi ran back to his position shaking his head.
