Spectators: 6450 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 100) Cankurtaran's Ozan Yorangil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cankurtaran's goal looked a bit too open when Cahit Naşit came free, but Oğuzalp Ulusu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Affan Asutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybar Şengil having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ozan Yorangil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aybar Şengil was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Özmen Birge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oğuzalp Ulusu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özmen Birge, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Aybar Şengil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Affan Asutay in the 22nd minute. Vahap Uysal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Ozan Yorangil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aybar Şengil, passed just outside the right post. 29 minutes into the match, İstanbul Yayla Spor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Yorangil came free, but Aybar Şengil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Affan Asutay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cankurtaran's supporters rose to their feet, but Affan Asutay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aybar Şengil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, İstanbul Yayla Spor FK's goalkeeper Aybar Şengil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Affan Asutay. Aybar Şengil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ozan Yorangil's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Cahit Naşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umur Kayan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umur Kayan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Cankurtaran got a freekick which was hit by Umur Kayan. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özmen Birge to make the kick off. Vahap Uysal's late challenge caught a Cankurtaran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahap Uysal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Vahap Uysal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cankurtaran's zone, Atilla Kağan Yazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzalp Ulusu came out of the goal and Atilla Kağan Yazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aybar Şengil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Affan Asutay in the 79th minute of play. Affan Asutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, İstanbul Yayla Spor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahap Uysal to maneuver through the defense.
