Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fetih Biçimli in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Öztürk Şahap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Oğuzlar booed when TokatSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Hacısalihoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fetih Biçimli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Şahap was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ali Macit Eryiğit took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Öztürk Şahap. Öztürk Şahap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Fetih Biçimli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in TokatSK's zone, Ali Macit Eryiğit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Öztürk Şahap came out of the goal and Ali Macit Eryiğit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, TokatSK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Macit Eryiğit came free, but Öztürk Şahap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Oğuzlar were the better team. Oğuzlar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
