But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İrfan Mürşit couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Selim defense, Ahmet Boran Önel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şeray Uğurhan. The Selim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şeray Uğurhan should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute of the match Sarper Remiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Yaşar Maksum skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to FC KAVAKLI getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. İrfan Mürşit hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, FC KAVAKLI's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızalp Özdeş came free, but Mustafa Yaşar Maksum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İrfan Mürşit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Boran Önel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şeray Uğurhan having to interfere. With a little luck, Selim's Şeray Uğurhan got control of the ball when İrfan Mürşit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yağızalp Özdeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mustafa Yaşar Maksum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Selim's Şeray Uğurhan got control of the ball when Ahmet Boran Önel tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC KAVAKLI's Ahmet Boran Önel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Boran Önel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şeray Uğurhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Boran Önel in the 74th minute of the match. FC KAVAKLI's Ahmet Boran Önel got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Boran Önel in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şeray Uğurhan saved Selim from getting behind. In the 85th minute of the match Mehmet Bedri Oğuzer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şeray Uğurhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Şeray Uğurhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Boran Önel in the 88th minute of the match. Seyhun Özdoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şeray Uğurhan having to interfere. When FC KAVAKLI's Ahmet Boran Önel in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC KAVAKLI fully deserved thier win.
