In the 13th minute, Boran Nabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ozan Yorangil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zülfikar Ülkem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee ignored Cankurtaran's protests and gave Nuri Uzel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Asesler FK booed when Cankurtaran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuri Uzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asesler FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cankurtaran the free kick. In the 80th minute, Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zülfikar Ülkem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozan Yorangil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Affan Asutay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Zülfikar Ülkem made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Cankurtaran got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Onur Çetin. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asesler FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cankurtaran had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
