After a defensive mix-up in Besiktas JK's zone, Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birdal Yöner came out of the goal and Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Birdal Yöner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Besiktas JK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hacı Şakib hit a great ball. Boran Nabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Birdal Yöner made a huge save. After having played for 79 minutes, Boran Nabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asesler FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boran Nabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nazmi Refet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zülfikar Ülkem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Atalan Şahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
