Spectators: 5665 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1150, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a defensive mix-up in FC KAVAKLI's zone, Ahmet Nafiz Attar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Yaşar Maksum came out of the goal and Ahmet Nafiz Attar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Özbek Ülgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Ahmet Boran Önel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Öztürk Şahap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC KAVAKLI's İrfan Mürşit in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TokatSK's goalie prevented a goal. Özbek Ülgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Mustafa Yaşar Maksum made a huge save. Faruk Nafiz Tulum's late challenge caught a FC KAVAKLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faruk Nafiz Tulum helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TokatSK's Faruk Nafiz Tulum got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Boran Önel in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Öztürk Şahap saved TokatSK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, TokatSK's Kazım Talayer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. FC KAVAKLI's Seyhun Özdoa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Öztürk Şahap came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by FC KAVAKLI's Ahmet Boran Önel. But to his dismay, Ahmet Boran Önel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Özbek Ülgen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mustafa Yaşar Maksum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that İrfan Mürşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Şahap was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 played minutes FC KAVAKLI got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Veli Ayvazoğlu. Cenk Eroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fikri Çevikcan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ahmet Nafiz Attar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Attar in the 54th minute of play forced FC KAVAKLI's goalkeeper Mustafa Yaşar Maksum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TokatSK's Öztürk Şahap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save TokatSK from getting a goal against them. Sungurbey Refiğ's late challenge caught a FC KAVAKLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sungurbey Refiğ helped the player get up and apologised. Mustafa Yaşar Maksum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nafiz Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, TokatSK's goalkeeper Öztürk Şahap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Boran Önel. In the 64th minute, Şeray Ayberk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KAVAKLI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ahmet Boran Önel hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Ahmet Nafiz Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TokatSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nafiz Attar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orhan Veli Ayvazoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Yağız Safvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KAVAKLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağız Safvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 90 in the game by Ahmet Boran Önel from a close distance when the talented Öztürk Şahap managed to make a qualified save. TokatSK's players were relieved. Seyhun Özdoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Boran Önel's late challenge caught a TokatSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Boran Önel helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Boran Önel kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. FC KAVAKLI played a much better game than TokatSK and deserved their victory. The TokatSK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
