Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rıza Yiğitcan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ERZURUMSPOR's goalkeeper Latif Taşkesen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Göktuğ Şahbender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Latif Taşkesen having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kuddusî Reşit in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Latif Taşkesen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nuri Tokalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savaş Ünzil kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fırat Kaya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Latif Taşkesen. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 18th minute Göktuğ Şahbender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Taşkesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Latif Taşkesen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Davut Öğüç showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Latif Taşkesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktuğ Şahbender, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Gaziantep's Kuddusî Reşit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Fırat Kaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Latif Taşkesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turan Cansever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kuddusî Reşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Harun Üstüner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mümtazer Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıza Yiğitcan in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

58 minutes into the match, Ahmet Davut Öğüç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Latif Taşkesen. ERZURUMSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Davut Öğüç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Tomasz Kon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Latif Taşkesen having to interfere. The Gaziantep fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Gaziantep's Fırat Kaya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Turan Cansever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Latif Taşkesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Davut Öğüç took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Latif Taşkesen. Latif Taşkesen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Nuri Tokalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mümtazer Yura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mümtazer Yura made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Nuri Tokalp sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, ERZURUMSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersin Sonat to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Fırat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Taşkesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mümtazer Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıza Yiğitcan in the 95th minute of play.
