Bahtiyar Karadeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Haliç in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Seyhun Özbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cizre FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyhun Özbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahtiyar Karadeniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Agah Tokuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cizre FK the free kick. After 33 minutes of play, Cizre FK's Türkeş Haliç made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seyhun Özbay made a kick off. Bahtiyar Karadeniz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Türkeş Haliç sent off a good shot on target. Türkeş Haliç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bahtiyar Karadeniz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyhun Özbay in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahtiyar Karadeniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Türkeş Haliç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Bahtiyar Karadeniz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Türkeş Haliç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cizre FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türkeş Haliç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cizre FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Türkeş Haliç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
