Cahit Adaş who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Latif Taşkesen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Kaptan Özkent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Latif Taşkesen. İsmet Çetiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuri Tokalp in the 26th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Kütahyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Taceddin. A collision led to ERZURUMSPOR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ersin Sonat hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Murathan Doğay mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 64th minute Cahit Adaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Taşkesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıza Yiğitcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. İsmet Çetiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuri Tokalp in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İsmet Çetiner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 67th minute of the match Batuhan Taceddin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Batuhan Taceddin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
