Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reha Özkutsal started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Agah Tokuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bingöl the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıraç İdrisoğlu in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ersin Tulum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Merih Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merih Sezginay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merih Sezginay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahtiyar Karadeniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Bilge Ungan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bingöl's Ersin Tulum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilge Ungan in the 25th minute of play. When Asaf Şanalp came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bingöl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asaf Şanalp couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Bingöl's Reha Özkutsal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bahtiyar Karadeniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bilge Ungan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bilge Ungan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bornova booed when Bingöl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reha Özkutsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Merih Sezginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Karadeniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bilge Ungan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ersin Tulum was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Merih Sezginay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bahtiyar Karadeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Merih Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bingöl's Merih Sezginay in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bornova's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Merih Sezginay in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bahtiyar Karadeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Merih Sezginay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bingöl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merih Sezginay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Merih Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bornova's Bahtiyar Karadeniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merih Sezginay in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Bingöl's Merih Sezginay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bahtiyar Karadeniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bingöl were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
