Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oğuz Taşer started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Behzat in the 3rd minute of play forced Karahalli's goalkeeper John Türk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fehmi Hançer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Türk having to interfere. Güray Ruhittin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Eryetiş having to interfere. Güray Ruhittin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Bilge Kağan Durusan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Staton, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cüngüs's zone, Demirhan Tansan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş came out of the goal and Demirhan Tansan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Oğuz Taşer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karahalli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuz Taşer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oğuz Taşer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fehmi Hançer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. John Türk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahir Bektaş hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Rüştü Mahçup was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karahalli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cüngüs the free kick. Rüştü Mahçup kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Cüngüs's Abdi Saygın Eryetiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cüngüs from getting a goal against them. Arın Behzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. John Türk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Mahir Bektaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Taşer in the 47th minute of play. Erhun İcabi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Karahalli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eric Staton in the 50th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Behzat made a kick off. Oğuz Taşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Eryetiş having to interfere. Demirhan Tansan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Cüngüs got a freekick which was hit by Erhun İcabi. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Taşer in the 60th minute of the match. If Demirhan Tansan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Demirhan Tansan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mahir Bektaş hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Mahir Bektaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demirhan Tansan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erhun İcabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdi Saygın Eryetiş came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Karahalli's Oğuz Taşer. But to his dismay, Oğuz Taşer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Karahalli defense, Fehmi Hançer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Türk. The Karahalli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Türk should have stopped the shot. After 89 played minutes Karahalli got a freekick which was hit by Güray Ruhittin. Fehmi Hançer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of John Türk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oğuz Taşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cüngüs's Abdi Saygın Eryetiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demirhan Tansan in the 100th minute of play. Karahalli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
