The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Beylikdüzü JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esat Candaner to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Ercüment Kavaş fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Fuat Vahat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. Mihalgazi FK's İsmet Canberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Değer in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Mihalgazi FK got a freekick which was hit by Ertan Eripek. In the 14th minute, Esat Değer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute Tayfun Dilsaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Canberk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Sadri Çağkar put in a rough tackle. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mihalgazi FK! The referee showed Aytunç Patlar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mihalgazi FK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aytunç Patlar hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Mihalgazi FK's Ersin Serhad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Akif Özdoru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Mehmet Akif Özdoru managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Mihalgazi FK's Özgün Talha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Beylikdüzü JK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fuat Vahat hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Beylikdüzü JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Özdoru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özgün Talha.
