Atilla Titiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Okanalp Zağanos charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Okanalp Zağanos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes SAHDER SK got a freekick which was hit by Okanalp Zağanos. 32 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nafiz Özbay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reşit Teren, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in SAHDER SK's zone, Battal Gazi Kaynak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yüce Özpinar came out of the goal and Battal Gazi Kaynak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Atilla Titiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAHDER SK's Yüce Özpinar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SAHDER SK's Yüce Özpinar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Cüneyt Zeynur in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Atilla Titiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Titiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yüce Özpinar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Zeynur in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertaç Serhad to make the kick off.
