Alaaddin Şenyaşar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güralp Okman got free with Hasan İkinci in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Alaaddin Şenyaşar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cayeli FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Atilla Titizs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Hasan İkinci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute, Güralp Okman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cayeli FK's Akil Şanalp got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Erhun Canaydin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored galatasaray's protests and gave Erhun Canaydin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to galatasaray getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Erhun Canaydin hit a great ball. Reşit Teren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Erendiz in the 23rd minute of play. Reşit Teren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Şanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Aral Kerim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilla Titizs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Hasan İkinci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hasan İkinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Cüneyt Zeynur in the 31st minute of the match. Hasan İkinci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Titiz's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Reşit Teren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akil Şanalp in the 36th minute of play. When Akil Şanalp fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayeli FK's protests and gave Akil Şanalp a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilla Titiz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan İkinci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reşit Teren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahin Erendiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Cayeli FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Titiz in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan İkinci saved Cayeli FK from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Arın Zevahir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reşit Teren, 1-2. The supporters of Cayeli FK booed when galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhun Canaydin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Cayeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arın Zevahir to maneuver through the defense. Şahin Erendiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Reşit Teren made a huge save. Reşit Teren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alaaddin Şenyaşar in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Atilla Titiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hasan İkinci. Cayeli FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Titiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Akil Şanalp took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Reşit Teren to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cayeli FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
