After 5 minutes, Bican Gürler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the common FK and the Vakfikebir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, common FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bican Gürler to maneuver through the defense. Bican Gürler was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. common FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Buğra Şerhenk fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vakfikebir's protests and gave Buğra Şerhenk a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vural İlkan in the 23rd minute of play forced Vakfikebir's goalkeeper Saffet Toker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakkı Kenan Kuyas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Saffet Toker came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by common FK's Güray Şafakoğlu. But to his dismay, Güray Şafakoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 46th match minute, common FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Lupu to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Utkan Evcimen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Güray Şafakoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Birol Deniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saffet Toker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Birol Deniz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 55 minutes of play Vakfikebir's Buğra Şerhenk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Vakfikebir's Buğra Şerhenk got a free kick in the 55th minute. Vural İlkan scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saffet Toker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, common FK's Bican Gürler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saffet Toker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vakfikebir booed when common FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demirhan Sarduç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vural İlkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. common FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vural İlkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saffet Toker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes, Savaşer Kökten mouthed his way into the referee's book. There was no doubt that common FK were the better team. common FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
