A collision led to Torunlar FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Taha Taif hit a great ball. Alparslan Ilgın hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Yusuf Bahadır Çelenkoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artun Özaltuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İshak Oğuzalp in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sümer Ceri saved Kepez FK from getting behind. In the 36th minute İshak Oğuzalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sümer Ceri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erdinç Eymen was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oktay Talaz got free with Artun Özaltuğ in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torunlar FK's Artun Özaltuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Torunlar FK from getting a goal against them.
