Servet Durkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Namık Selmi in the 3rd minute of the match. Baybars Açıkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serdar Eker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Serdar Eker didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Battalgazi's zone, Baybars Açıkel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Servet Durkaya came out of the goal and Baybars Açıkel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Servet Durkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baybars Açıkel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Mümin Vakkasoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bayrampasa JK's Hasret Ergök tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Aşık Menderes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battalgazi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayrampasa JK the free kick. In the 30th minute, Aşık Menderes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, Bayrampasa JK's Baybars Açıkel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Servet Durkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mustafa Namık Selmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servet Durkaya having to interfere. Battalgazi's Reha Okboğa got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Namık Selmi to make the kick off. Serdar Eker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutalp Yorgun in the 96th minute of the match. Battalgazi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
