Black Eagle's Battal Gazi Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acun Zeki in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Kaynarca JK got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Nuri Laçin. 27 minutes into the match, Acun Zeki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Battal Gazi Acaroğlu. Black Eagle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acun Zeki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 31 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaynarca JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acun Zeki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Battal Gazi Acaroğlu having to make a save. Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Acaroğlu having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdullah Tanyolaç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Black Eagle's Tansel Ergönül got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acun Zeki struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaynarca JK. Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Gazi Acaroğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaynarca JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Elmacıoğlu in the 69th minute of play. Abdullah Tanyolaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhittin İlkim, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Acun Zeki managed to get in a good position for a shot.
